Blow-Up

Michelangelo Antonioni’s “Blow-Up” is one of my favorite films. It is Antonioni’s first English-language film, and is in the style of 60’s mod London. The photographer’s character is based on David Bailey, a British Swinging London photographer. The story follows the photographer’s stroll through the park and accidental involvement in a murder which he photographs there. A classic.

I came upon this project (Blow-Up in reverse) by photographer Per Zennström in collaboration with Berlin menswear label So Popular.

CATFISH

Saw Catfish yesterday…it was amazing.  Absolutely fascinating movie.  Its edited perfectly and feels very…new-fashioned.  The first half of the movie is mostly told digitally-introducing characters via Facebook, showing us their location using Google maps…very comfortable for us internet-age kids to watch. Its so emotional. I’m not saying any more. Go see it go see it go see it.

And check out this awesome interactive feature where you can go inside Nev’s computer on the movie’s website.
