This Spring is the first season of shoes + accessories from Theodora + Callum, which debuted at Fashion week in September, and I’m drooling over it. Nearly everything in the collection is to die for, but especially the espadrilles. Some of them remind me of the Julian Louie for ALDO collection (with a slightly higher price tag), and if you’re anything like me and you totally missed out on that one because they sold like hot cakes, these are a great alternative!

The ladies behind the line are Stefani Greenfield (co-founder of SCOOP stores) and Desiree Gruber (co-creator and executive producer of Project Runway). See the rest of the amazing collection here! Also available on Net-a-Porter and Shopbop.

I was doing my usual online perusing a few minutes ago and stumbled over to ALDO where they have some awesome stuff right now, including some great sale items! I found all these amazing wedges! So adorable, all perfect for Spring. Wait, is it actually Spring in New York? Because I would never know.

O S B O R N. Hand-Crafted in Guatemala.

Osborn Design came about when co-founder Aaron Osborn met an out-of-work cobbler who was doing charitable work in Guatemala, where his (Aaron’s) family runs one of the largest orphanages in the country. Each shoe is handcut and sewn by a local artisan and I think the result is pretty amazing! Fashion+Humanitarianism=Pure Gold (as already once proven by Tom’s Shoes). I also came upon Osborn’s tumblr, which is fully of random inspirational photos. Hope you enjoy!

Pink Suede Shoes

Purchased these little babies at the Dolce Vita Boutique in the LES this weekend while (post Bloody Mary brunch) shopping with my girls on Saturday. Kind of in love with my feet today. They have some great stuff right now – including both their new summer collection + some amazing sale items! If you don’t have a boutique in your area, check them out here!

Virgo by Jeffrey Campbell

Even though it still somehow feels like winter will never end, I am so ready for these shoes. I love the new “flatform” style of shoe because for girls like me we can always use the extra height.

Jeffrey Campbell. Virgo. 5″ heel. 2″ platform. Woven rafia. NeedSupply. $112.

Lauren Tennenbaum is Serious about Shoes. (In)Decorous Taste

Lauren Tennenbaum is a Fashion and Interior Designer and all-around Artist.

She says:

“Curiosity got the best of me, and what started out as my tearing apart those lucite monster wedges that you know I loved to death in all their tack-tasticness, lead to 3234023945234 hours of research and birthed this obsessive experiment in making a luxe-ified stripper heel without having (yet) acquired a last, or at the time, knowledge of shoe construction.”

You can read about her making them and see pictures of the process here.
