Acne Spring/Summer (new additions)

Above are some new items that Acne just added to their Spring/Summer 2011 Collection. Leather jackets haven’t been as big this season as they have been in the recent past, but the cut and color on the jacket in the first photo offers us something new + different and I think it pairs great with the lavender dress. That blouse and stretchy fitted shorts is adorable not to mention looks insanely comfortable. And the three men’s looks are spot on, simple, and superb. Vena Cava Spring/Summer Ready-to-Wear Collection

Part Ava Gardner, part Alexa Chung, and chock-full of rompers, flowy skirts and overalls thrown in with a few bohemian pieces, Vena Cava’s new spring-summer line is not only to die for as usual, but is the epitome of Spring trends all in one collection. Loose, straight cut shorts paired with corset bra tops or loose cropped shirts, half sheer/half opaque bottoms (how amazing are those pants!?), drapey A-line skirts and dresses, and neutral colors with blasts of bright color and camel.  I’m so into wearing tailored trousers paired with crop tops as well as jumpsuits right now, and I love love the high waisted pleated shorts with bra tops and light overalls (which are great for layering) to continue the look into Spring.

loving all cuts on these pieces from New Zealand line BLAK. Their site describes the LUXE collection as:

“a girl on a military manoeuvre with a positive mission. Linen and lace in sun-faded hues of ivory and beige contrast with sharp bright moments of pink and blue. Pieces are slim fitting with structured cut outs, piping and heavy duty zips. The waist is back – in gathered skirts, jumpsuits and shorty shorts”.

while the line of basics is more more soft and flowy:

“Structured shirt dress, cropped jackets and cardigans sit alongside pieces with easy gathers, soft frills and swing tee dresses – the perfect wardrobe fro lazy summer days relaxing in the shade”.

Either way, its all gorgeous. via.
